POSITION AND PURPOSE
| Lead and execute the growth and performance of the retail home loans division within the organization. Provide strategies that can navigate the competitive landscape of the mortgage industry while developing innovative solutions to enhance loan production and operational efficiency. Lead a high-performing team, focusing on cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration that empowers employees to exceed in performance. Foster strong relationships to build a robust network that drives loan growth and enhances the organization's reputation in the marketplace. Identify and cultivate new opportunities and market trends, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions that expand market share and improve member engagement. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, that will enhance the overall member experience, ensuring that the organization not only meets but exceeds the expectations of its members. Optimize loan origination processes, streamlining workflows, and integrating technology to improve service delivery. With a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management, the Director will ensure that all operational activities adhere to regulatory standards while supporting the organization's growth objectives. • | Direct and grow initiatives aimed at home loan production growth, enhancing efficiencies, and improving the overall member experience in home lending. | • | Develop, recommend and implement initiatives that improve on our service and delivery capabilities resulting in membership growth, and loan growth. | • | Owner of corporate strategic initiatives or programs as assigned by the EVP, Chief Retail Officer. Lead the initiative when appropriate and represent Home Loans, Lending on other assignments Home Loans, Lending is not the business owner or sponsor of. | • | Foster a positive and engaging work environment for each team member by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement and growth, inspiring others through your words and actions, ensuring positive employee morale throughout Golden 1 and embracing our mission, vision and core values. Promote a high-performance work culture. | • | Develop, prepare, process and analyze reporting that drives increased expectations, growth and results. • | Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union’s risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations. |
EDUCATION: | • | Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required | | | |
EXPERIENCE: | • | 7+ years in a financial institution in a management capacity (or related discipline), including three years in a senior leadership capacity required | | | |
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: | • | Strong proven leadership skills, strong presentation and communication skills, knowledge of branch leadership, and sound knowledge of compliance and banking regulation. | | | |

WORKING CONDITIONS
| Work time includes weekend and after-hours time, based on organizational needs. This position works in-office where working conditions, lighting, temperature, audio, and workspace are all sufficient. |
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
| Work requires the ability to constantly operate a computer and the ability to read, type, and communicate. Work may require the ability to move work-related supplies weighing up to 10-15 pounds. |
